Anonymous photo hosting: upload images without registration

Safe IMG is a free anonymous photo hosting service for people who care about privacy. No account, e-mail or phone number is needed: pick your photos, solve a simple math problem and get two links — one to view and one to delete. We do not ask for personal data and do not tie uploads to users.

What the service can do

  • Metadata (EXIF) removal. Phone or camera model, shooting date, GPS coordinates and other service data are removed automatically on upload, so the picture cannot reveal where and with what it was taken.
  • Watermark against copying. Enter any text and it is overlaid on the image as a repeating diagonal pattern, which makes stealing and republishing your photo harder.
  • Random file names. The original name such as IMG_20240115_143022.jpg is never shown: files are downloaded under a random name.
  • Password and view limit. Protect access with a password or limit the number of downloads — when the limit is reached the file is deleted automatically.
  • Auto-delete after N days. Choose a retention period from one day up to 365 days — after that the photo is deleted for good.
  • Batch upload and camera capture. Up to 20 photos at once, and on a smartphone you can shoot straight from the camera. Each upload gives only two links: view and delete.

How to upload a photo

  1. Select photos or drag them into the window (JPEG and PNG up to 10 MB).
  2. Optionally add a watermark and open “Additional settings”.
  3. Solve the math problem and press “Upload Images”.
  4. Save the view link and keep the private delete link safe.

Frequently asked questions

Is registration required?

No. The service works without accounts: just select a photo and pass a simple check.

What is EXIF and why remove it?

EXIF is service data stored inside a photo: device model, date and time, sometimes GPS coordinates. Publishing a picture with such data can accidentally reveal your location. Safe IMG removes it automatically.

How does the watermark work?

You enter any text — a name, nickname or website address. It is overlaid on the whole image as a semi-transparent diagonal pattern. A watermark cannot be removed after upload, so keep the original photo for yourself.

How do I delete uploaded photos?

Open the delete link you received after uploading and confirm. Keep it private: anyone who has it can delete the files. If you do nothing, the photos are deleted automatically when the chosen period ends.

Is it really free?

Yes, the photo hosting is free to use, within reasonable limits on the number of uploads.
